How it works

Three steps from filter to drill.

01
1

Pick your filter combo

Select Track, Topic, Job Role, Position Level and Experience. The more specific your combination, the more targeted your question set.

02
2

Browse 50+ Q&A in seconds

Pulled from past interview reports and open-source question banks, then matched to your combo. Every question ships with a 3 to 5 sentence model answer.

Drill until you can recite it

Answers stay open by default. Tag the hard ones, click "Load more" for additional batches. Cached so repeat visits load instantly.

A real Senior DevOps + EKS question, answered.

This is exactly what one filter combination returns — a production-shaped question with a model answer that includes commands and trade-offs, not bullet points.

3 to 5 sentence answers with concrete commands

Q12
You are on-call. An EKS production cluster shows pods stuck in CrashLoopBackOff after an autoscaling event. Walk me through your debugging.
ANSWER

Start with kubectl describe pod and kubectl logs --previous to capture the last container exit reason — the most common culprit post-scale is a readiness probe that times out before the JVM/runtime finishes warming. Check node-level resource pressure with kubectl top nodes and confirm the new ASG nodes joined cleanly via kubectl get nodes; a missing IAM role for the EKS node group will block image pulls from ECR. If logs show OOMKilled, raise the limits or revisit the JVM heap tuning, otherwise widen the readiness probe initialDelay and verify the HPA target wasn't oversubscribed.

5 levels × 5 experience bands

Junior, Mid, Senior, Lead, Principal × 0-2 / 2-3 / 3-5 / 5-8 / 8+ years. Question difficulty calibrates automatically.

Real interview tone

Mix of conceptual, scenario-based ("you are on-call and..."), debugging, architecture, and trade-off questions. No "explain X in 2 lines" filler.

Model answers, not bullet points

3 to 5 sentences each. Includes commands, config snippets, and trade-offs where relevant. Production-oriented, not textbook.

Updated April 2026

Refreshed monthly against new interview reports. The bank grows organically — every fresh combo a user pulls is cached for the next visitor.

Drilled the bank. Got the offer.

"Filtered AWS + EKS + Senior + 5-8 years. Got 60 questions that mapped almost 1:1 to what Swiggy actually asked. Saved me hours of prep."

"The Kubernetes RBAC scenarios are spot on. I had three "you are on-call and..." questions in the real round and I had drilled all three patterns here."

"Used the System Design + Lead filter for two weeks. Answers are concise and production-grade — not the usual academic fluff you get on other sites."

"I love that the bank stays the same way I left it — bookmark a combo, answers are still there next morning, "Load more" picks up new ones."

Everything you might want to ask.

How is this different from a Google search for "AWS interview questions"?

Google gives you generic listicles. The InterviewDrill Question Bank filters by your exact combination — Track, Topic, Job Role, Position Level, Experience — so you only see questions calibrated to your situation. Each comes with a 3 to 5 sentence model answer that includes real commands and trade-offs, not bullet points.

Where do the questions come from?

Curated from past interview reports candidates have shared, open-source question banks (MIT-licensed GitHub repos like awesome-* lists, devinterview-io, system-design-primer), and publicly shared prep notes. Updated continuously through April 2026.

Can I get 1000s of questions for one track?

Yes, by stacking filters. A broad combo like "AWS, any topic, any role, any level" can pull hundreds of questions. Click "Load more" to keep expanding the set — every new batch is cached so the next user with the same combo gets them instantly.

How long does the first batch take?

10 to 20 seconds on a fresh filter combo. Subsequent loads on the same combo are instant from cache. Each batch adds about 12 more questions when you click "Load more".

What tracks and topics are covered?

12 tracks: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes & EKS, Docker & Containers, CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform & IaC, Linux & Shell, System Design, Behavioural, Networking & Security, Python for DevOps. Each track has 8 to 20 topics — for example, AWS includes EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, EKS, ECS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, Route 53, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, CloudFormation, Auto Scaling, ELB, KMS, Secrets Manager.

Does it work for Senior, Lead, and Principal level?

Yes. The level filter (Junior / Mid / Senior / Lead / Principal) calibrates question depth. At Lead/Principal you get more architecture, trade-offs, incident scenarios, and cross-team collaboration questions instead of definitions.

Are the answers verified?

Each answer is reviewed for technical correctness and is production-oriented. We mark difficulty as easy / medium / hard, and tag each question with 2-4 keywords so you can scan fast. If you spot anything off, reply to your purchase email — we update the bank in place.

Is this a one-time pay or subscription?

Pay-as-you-go. Every plan includes Question Bank batches: Single Session (5 batches), System Design Pack (10), Session Pack (25), All Access (unlimited). Batches you have used are tracked in your profile.

How does it work with my AI Mock Interview practice?

Most users use the Question Bank to study patterns, then run AI Mock Interview sessions to practice articulating answers under live scoring. Together they cover both the "what" (knowledge) and the "how" (delivery).

Can I export the questions to PDF?

Not yet — but the bank is browseable on every device and persists per filter combo, so you can return to the same set anytime. PDF export is on the roadmap.

Stop scraping the web for prep.

Open the bank, pick your combination, and drill the questions you'll actually be asked.
